It's hard to believe we will come together in 2 days to celebrate our Graduation from Newport News High School.  50 years has been a long time as we have come full circle.  Living with parents, going off to school, getting married, having children and finally taking care of our parents in their final days.  Along the way, friends have remained, new friends have been made.  We've crossed many trails which now bring us back to gether again.  I do not know a better group for getting a party, reunion or birthday celebration together.  It has been a pleasure to be a part of you

It will be SO good to see our '64 Classmates!
Please be sure to add information to this sites' "Classmates" page. We'll use this information to create our 'Golden Anchor'...to include the input gathered throughout the weekend.

Be safe, and come on!  <3  :)

I can't believe it's been 50 years! I can't make it to the reunion-- I was trying to rearrange things so that I might come, because weekends are my busy time ( I am Senior Druid for my local congregation and teach Irish language for the Gaelic League of New England), but then got knocked off my feet by emergency gall bladder surgery. I am recovering well, but it's pretty clear that I am not meant to travel at this time. I hope it's a wonderful reunion.

I am like everyone else..can't believe 50 years have passed!  I look at our yearbook and the memories just flood my mind with the "good old days" and I'm very happy to be here to celebrate and and make new memories!  It's going to be a fun time.

I am really looking forward to visting with old friends.  At this point in my life, I thought I might be slowing down a bit and taking it a little easier.  It didn't happen.  The older I get the more I seem to work.  I still enjoy my work (going into my 42nd year of federal service).  Crazy, huh. I don't know about you guys, but I am grateful each morning just to wake up and smell my coffee brewing.  See you in October.

The Past is filled with memories, the future with anticipation..This was our class motto..and before we knew it,the future is here!  So much in between.... If anyone out there is anxious..may you be relieved to know..No one looks the same.  Besides, we will be wearing those trusty name tags with those children'spictures from the ANCHOR.   Personally, I have been blessed with a terriffic husband (47 years...One son a daughter-in law that is like a daughter to me and two shining stars (my grandaughters.  Just like everyone else challanges have been met, pain has been felt, and then we move on.  I hope everyone leaves the reunion with a smile in their heart (yes heart).  May we all be blessed to celebrate together again and have fewer meds in our pill boxes.

I finally bought a laptop at the end of July, and I have used it today to buy my tickets-! I am congratulating myself!   Am looking forward to seeing everyone, and visiting Newport News as well, maybe even downtown despite it being a ghost-town now. Not only have we changed, how the world has changed as well - even since our grand 30th reunion.  Giant thank you to David Springgs and all of you on the 2014 ReUnion Committee for all the work you do!!

Has it REALLY been 50 years?!?!  I don't feel 50 years older..... (but my reflection confirms it!)  What are a few wrinkles and a few extra pounds anyway?  They only confirm that we are hearty enough to stand the ravages of time.  I for one say, "Bring them on!"  I'm just thankful to still be here and in reasonably good health.  Looking forward to catching-up with everyone!!!!

Wow!  Imagine, FIFTY YEARS!  How lucky are we to be able to enjoy reminiscing and sharing "the good old days"?  The Reunion Committee is working hard to ensure lots of fun.  More classmates attending will make it better and better.  I'm looking forward to seeing all of you..Send photos for the slide show and the Golden Anchor.  You can e-mail them to nnhs64@cox.net.  Dave can make it appear in the book!

I'm still debating on coming to the reunion this year.  I don't really like hanging out with a bunch of old people ;) Besides, I have to be in bed asleep by 10.

50 years have passed so fast.  I have difficulty believing we are here so quickly. But I am grateful to have the opportunity to see former classmates, current friends and hear about what has happened to you since the last reunion.  Typhoons forever.

Welcome to our Class of 1964 50th Reunion web site. We hope to conduct most of our communication and financial business on this site and thereby reduce the costs of paper mailing.

This site is very comprehensive and requires a good deal of set-up. I am working to fill the many pages as quickly as my schedule permits, so please be patient and check back often.

At some point, your reunion Committee will have calculated the registration fee per person and will offer you the opportunity to purchase your tickets online by credit card. We hope that this will be much easier than has been the case for prior reunions. I know for sure that it will be easier on me than handling and filing a huge amount of paper :-)

I encourage each of you to add your name to the "Classmates" page and to sign this guest book.

The Committee are looking forward to seeing each of you in October.
