Most of my classmates remember Alice Pipkin as my cousin because we shared the same last name. However, Roy Lee Davis, and his younger brother Kirk Davis, were also my cousins, just on my mother's side. Roy Lee was a kind and gentle person. He was never the type to take center stage but was always there for you if you needed him. Like his older brother, Bud, he left us much too soon.
You are missed every day. You were such a positive force in my life and continue to be. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and your basic "goodness" and your great sense of humor. I didn't really know you in high school and I thank God that he placed us in each others' lives for a wonderful 12 years - 10 of them in marriage. You were perfect for me.
