From Phil:Hello Class of 1964,
Over the last five years Sylvial and I have returned to jacksonville to be close to our grand children. Its been wonderful other than Sylvias sickness but she is doing fine now. I play golf twice a week and work at private course two days a week plus my handy man work to pay for golf and keep me busy. The pictures are from a Scandinavian cruise this year and a visit with Bill Crosley.
We will not be able to come this year so take pictures.

From Dianne:Thinking about my 50th reuniion is surreal; time goes by way too fast. We've been in Florida since 03, when I retired from Dept of Ag, after 29 years of sitting at desks! Taking the civil service test in high school began my journey into the federal gov; my first job was in Dept of Defense, at Ft Eustis. I was married at the age of 18, had a son, divorced at age 23, and remarried when I was 27, in 1974. We had another son in 1978. July 15th will mark our 40th anniversary. In 1989, we lost our 11 year old son, Frank, in an accident, and in 1995, my son Johnny died at age 29 in an accident. The course of my life changed drastically as that wiped out graduations, weddings, grand children, and having my children in my life. That was the main reason I transferred to St Louis in 1996 as there were too many sad memories in our home in Gloucester. I retired from USDA, St Louis, in 2003; I had no family left in VA, so I wanted to be near the beach, & we moved to FL. We have created a life here and have made many new friends. I've worked a few part-time jobs & we both have done many volunteer things. I started going Boogie boarding in 1980 & still do that, using the same board! It only takes me 14 minutes to drive to the beach. Tai Chi is one of my favorite activities, as well as aerobics, walking, gardening, & doing art projects. Thankfully, I'm pretty healthy, so far!!!

From Sidney:After high school I worked for a while in retail, then joined the Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Pendleton CA. Then, when our Batallion was formed, I left by ship and headed to South Vietnam for two tours. After discharge from the Corps, I went back to retail jobs and became manager of Family Fashion By Avon in Hampton Va. After several years in retail men's clothing and as a jewelry store manager, I moved to New York. I worked several more years in retail men's clothing. I got a Civil Service job with Dept of the Army, where I worked until retirement from the Reserve and Civil Service. Enjoying Retirement.

From Sue:Greetings! - One daughter, Laura, is in heaven and the other, Stephanie, lives in London with her husband and four children. Our classmate and my first husband, Fred Anspach is Laura and Stephanie's dad. I also have two stepsons who are the children of my husband, Ted Dearnley. Rob lives in Poquoson and has two children and Scott lives with his wife in Midlothian. So, lucky us... We have six grandchildren. From Betty:Hi everyone. I actually thought I was finally going to make it to a class reunion, but family circumstances have changed plans again. I am a very blessed wife and mother of three sons, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We only have two grandchildren here in Tampa. My passion has been in Interior Design and I still occasionally design rooms for close friends. We have had exchange students over the years and still keep in close contact with our "Swedish daughter" and her family. Life is good. I will be thinking of you as you celebrate together, wishing I could have been there with you all.
